Italy is trying again with nuclear energy and is promoting liquefied petroleum gas

A recent agreement between France and Italy, was the first step to see a nuclear power plant again in Italy

Four "third generation" plants will be made in Italy, the Government want to develop the first one before the 2013, using the France's technologies.

Italy is also promoting the purchase of hybrid cars (but liquefied petroleum gas and classic fuel hybrid) with tax rebates on the equipped cars (or on a new liquefied petroleum gas system installation) and special "discount cards" for liquefied petroleum gas purchase.

Liquefied petroleum gas is also strongly pushed as one of the best eco-friendly solution by major car manufacturers with a strong media coverage and advertising
